I. INTRODUCTION AND GENERAL SCOPE
This Privacy Policy and Notice of Privacy Practices (“Policy”) outlines the practices of One Dental World, its subsidiaries, affiliates, contractors, and associated entities (the “Company Group”), regarding the collection, processing, storage, use, retention, and disclosure of Personal Information (“PI”), Personal Data (“PD”), or Protected Health Information (“PHI”). This policy applies to all visitors and users of the Site and its related platforms, applications, and services.This Policy is designed to comply with various regulations, including Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) 603A and 629, HIPAA, HITECH, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA, among other applicable state and federal data privacy regulations. II. DEFINITIONS
The following terms are used interchangeably and are interpreted broadly as allowed by law:
- Personal Information (PI) & Personal Data (PD): Any data, identifier, or attribute related to an identified or reasonably identifiable person, including identifiers, browsing patterns, and commercial activity.
- Protected Health Information (PHI): As defined by HIPAA, this includes individually identifiable information about an individual’s health condition, care, or payment for care.
- Processing: Any collection, storage, retrieval, analysis, transmission, or destruction of data.
- Affiliates & Associated Entities: Any entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with One Dental World.

III. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
Information is collected in the following ways:
Directly from you: When you submit forms, inquiries, or service requests.
Automatically: Through the use of cookies, tracking pixels, and other passive data collection mechanisms.
Indirectly: Via affiliates, public records, partners, and analytics vendors.

Data that may be collected includes, but is not limited to:
- Identifiers (e.g., names, physical addresses, IP addresses).
- Demographic and professional data (e.g., insurance status, employer information).
- Financial and transactional data (e.g., billing, purchases).
- Interaction records (e.g., website navigation, referral links).
- Derived or inferred user profiles (e.g., preferences, marketing segments).

IV. USE OF INFORMATION
Data may be processed for purposes including, but not limited to:
- Provision and enhancement of the Site and Services.
- Scheduling, telehealth routing, and operational optimization.
- Compliance with regulatory obligations, audits, and enforcement of contractual rights.
- Internal analytics, machine learning, and anonymization initiatives.
- Direct or indirect marketing, targeted advertising, and campaign performance tracking to the extent permitted by law.
- Security monitoring, fraud prevention, and access control.
- Strategic planning, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations.
- Any legally permissible secondary use consistent with prior disclosures.

V. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
Data may be disclosed:
- To affiliates, subsidiaries, contractors, and business associates for operational continuity.
- To hosting, infrastructure, payment, insurance, analytics, and marketing service providers under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- As required by federal, state, or local law, subpoena, or lawful regulatory inquiry.
- To law enforcement or emergency responders when reasonably necessary to prevent harm.
- In connection with corporate restructuring, sale of assets, or bankruptcy proceedings.
- To any other third party as directed or expressly consented to by you.

WE DO NOT SELL PI FOR MONETARY VALUE. However, we may “share” PI for advertising and analytics purposes as broadly defined under California law. Nevada residents may exercise an opt-out right under NRS 603A.340.

VI. COOKIES, TRACKING, AND SIGNAL RECOGNITION
Cookies, tracking pixels, and related technologies are deployed to facilitate essential functionality, analyze engagement, and deliver relevant content. Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals are recognized where legally mandated, but Do Not Track (DNT) signals are not acted upon due to a lack of uniform standards.

VII. DATA RETENTION
Records, including PHI, shall be retained for at least 5 years in compliance with NRS 629.051 and applicable federal standards, or for longer periods where required by insurance, legal, or contractual obligations. De-identified and aggregated datasets may be retained indefinitely for research and analytics.

VIII. SECURITY
Security controls are implemented as required by HIPAA Security Rule and NRS 603A.210, including encryption at rest and in transit, periodic audits, and restricted access. No system is infallible; breach notifications shall be issued in accordance with HIPAA and NRS 603A.220 within required timeframes.

IX. CONSUMER PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on residency, you may have rights under NRS 603A, CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws to:
1. Request access to and a portable copy of your PI/PHI.
2. Request correction or amendment.
3. Request deletion (subject to legal exceptions).
4. Opt out of sharing/targeted advertising.
5. Limit processing of Sensitive PI.
6. Withdraw consent or lodge a complaint.
7. Appeal any refusal of requests.

Authorized agents must provide notarized authorization and identity verification per CCPA and NRS 603A.

X. CALIFORNIA AND MULTI-STATE DISCLOSURES
Pursuant to Cal. Civ. Code §1798.110 et seq., all categories of PI collected in the last 12 months are disclosed in this Policy. We do not engage in monetary sales of PI. Certain advertising practices may constitute “sharing” under CPRA definitions; opt-out links are available in the Site footer.

XI. HIPAA NOTICE OF PRIVACY PRACTICES
This section applies to PHI and supersedes other disclosures where healthcare law governs. We are required to:
- Maintain confidentiality and security of PHI.
- Notify you of breaches.
- Allow access, amendment, and accounting of disclosures.
- Obtain written authorization for marketing or sale of PHI.

PHI may be used for:
- Treatment, Payment, and Operations (TPO).
- Public health reporting.
- Research (with oversight).
- Law enforcement and legal compliance.
- Health oversight, organ donation, and workers’ compensation purposes.

XIII. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
This Policy may be revised at our discretion without prior notice. Revised versions will carry a new “Effective Date” and will be deemed in effect upon publication. Continued use of the Site or Services constitutes acceptance.
